Get Back, Alan.

One of the greatest contributors to the PPG fan community is Alan Back.  He's the one responsible for the transcripts here on the site.

A 14-year-old fan of the PPGs got Alan's email address and somehow thinks he's connected with the writers of the actual show.  This is no ordinary 14 year old girl.  She knows Shannen Doherty, personally!  More importantly, she's working on a live action movie staring the PPGs:

When Alan showed me the email above, I coaxed him to play along and reply that he was interested in her work.  Alan later told me, "I didn't lie outright in my response.  I do in fact know a person or two associated with CN; what I didn't tell her was that they're tied in with the PPG comics."  Here was her response:

Oh my God!  "And so it begins. May God have mercy on us all, because this yo-yo certainly won't."  Well said, Alan.

The script came soon after with this note:

I'm sorry to report that there was only one email sent.  I doubt we'll ever get to see the genius of the other four parts to this epic storyline.  Without further delay, here is what she wrote:

THE POWERPUFF GIRLS

What a title!

NARRATOR: in the city of townsville,it was just
another ordinary day for: Blossom,Bubbles &
Buttercup -- the powerpuff girls!

An ordinary day!  How exciting!

[daytime outside the PPG's home a
girl walks up to their door & knocks. this
girl is Robin Snyder,their friend.]

As opposed to the other Robin Snyder who is their enemy.

BUTTERCUP: will somebody get the door

[yells Buttercup,sitting on her bean bag
chair in her room with a guitar.]

Which room?  You know; the room with the guitar in it.  Oh, that room!

BLOSSOM: just a sec!


[swiftly heads downstairs & heads to the
door then opens it.]


ROBIN: hey Blossom! ya'll ready to go?


BLOSSOM: yeah Robin! I'll go get Bubbles & Buttercup.



[about 10 minutes later the girls are in
Robin's car with Robin,driving down the road &
their favorite song comes on the radio &
they sing along.]

[as the girls pull up onto Robin's
driveway they all hop out of the car & go inside her

They spent 10 minutes driving to go next door?

house & occupy chairs/the sofa while
watching TV.]

NEWS CASTER ON TV: the notorious villain known as
"Femme Fatale" has been released
from prison after
serving 20 years, for robbing banks,stealing Susan B.
Anthony coins from
private homes & tricking The Powerpuff girls!
the girls were 5 at he
time & fatale was 16. now fatale is 35 & the girls
are 24. this has been
Tonsville News.

What realism!  Every news report I've ever seen makes it a point to specify the ages of everyone involved at all critical points in the story.  Maybe the numbers have significance like on that show "Lost?" 5,16,20,24,35!

BUBBLES: on no thats terrible

[Bubbles starts to cry.]

Bubbles was hoping for the death penalty.

[later that night the girls did a huge concert
& rocked the house! for a long time]

And Bubbles cried throughout the entire performance!

[the next day at the girls home they are
asleep.then suddenly the hotline rings! its the
mayor & miss bellum.]

BLOSSOM: yes mayor!

Blossom answers the phone in her sleep?  Now that's dedication!

THE MAYOR: oh blossom, that crazy villain is robbing
banks again! hurry!

BLOSSOM: who? Him,Fuzzy Lumpkins,Mojo,Sedusa?

MAYOR: uh...[looks out window cant quite tell who is
robbing bank] I dont know maybe uh..Sedusa?

BLOSSOM: well whoever it is..... we'll be right there
Mayor! dont worry!

Not knowing who the villain is must be a very important plot point in the story!  Let's see!

[Bubbles is awake,Buttercup is sleeping/sleep
talking/throwing punches in her sleep.]

Poor Bubbles.  You'd be awake too if you have to lie next to someone talking and thrusting her arms and legs under the covers the whole night.

BLOSSOM: Buttercup!!!!!!!!

BUBBLES: Blossom we have no time we gotta go fight
Sedusa!

Did Buttercup ever wake up?  Maybe Bubbles is dragging Buttercup's sleeping body through the air?  It must be difficult with all that punching and kicking Buttercup does in her sleep.

[the girls burst out of their house & see
Sedusa robbing a bank with a wad of cash & an
evil grin- this scene is definately
injust!]

"this scene is definately injust!"  And how!

SEDUSA: [laughs] ha! you girls will never beat me
again -- or my hair!

BLOSSOM: aw really?

SEDUSA: uh huh, your correct!

A dejected Blossom gives up and goes home.

BUBBLES: oh yeah!

Bubbles agrees.

[Sedusa jumps up & tries to hit Blossom with
her bag of money while Blossom luckily
misses & Bubbles & Blossom put her in
jail.]

...and Buttercup does nothing.  I was right.  She must have been sleeping the whole time.

BUTTERCUP: err will she ever learn!

Go back to sleep, Buttercup.  You're not making any sense.

[meanwhile on the otherside of town in an
apartment with pictures of greek female symbols &
white,blue 7 pink delicate retro lamps

Ah!  Seven lamps!  Very important!  5,7,16,20,24,35!

lives Nicole
Fatale & her sister Alice. Nicole in normal
clothes is reading the paper while alice is
watching TV.]

If Nicole wears normal clothes, does that mean Alice wears abnormal clothes?

FEMME FATALE (aka NICOLE): oh! thouse Powerpuff Girls!
someone hould teach 'em a lesson for putting a
leader-- a gal who stands up for all of woman kind in
jail!!! [said crazed]

So her real name is Nicole?  That must be an important plot point!  Let's see!

ALICE: definately! what they do should like so be
illegal.

FEMME FATALE: ha! nah we need a plan - a secret
plan,so we can finally get rid of thouse girls
.....without getting caught!

Alice: Oh!  Thank goodness you added that last bit about not getting caught!  I thought this was a suicide mission or something.

ALICE: absoloutley!

[Alice who is 34 & Nicole/Femme
Fatale,35 laugh verry crazily loud!!!!!]

5,7,16,20,24,34,35!

[next day at the powerpufff home Professer
Utonium comes by to visit]

Apparently, he doesn't live there anymore.  Not since that anonymous call from Child Protective Services.

BLOSSOM: hi professer!

THE PROFESSER: hi girls,have you been doing well?

BUTTERCUP: yeah!

[hotline rings]

BLOSSOM: [dissapointed] sorry professer,we gotta
go,bye!

[the girls hurry off ]

PROFESSER: okay bye!

The Professor needs to call his agent.  His parts are getting smaller and smaller.

[downtown townsville. Princess
Morbucks is stealing all the flowers from the
townsville florist & laughing until - the PPG's teach
her a lesson! Princess & the girls fight
a long time BAM BOOM! & then the PPG's put
her in jail]

Knocking off a flower shop is so like Princess.

PRINCESS: youll never catch me again im going to be in
the powerpuff girls - [cries] whaaaa!

She's robbing a florist to become a PPG?  Princess must have overheard the term "flower power" and misunderstood.

BUTTERCUP: quiet!!!!!!

[the girls fly away from the jail and
go see Mary & Robin,their friends.]

They forgot to take Princess with them to jail!  Maybe Buttercup yelling at Princess was punishment enough for such a lame crime?  Maybe they went to jail to see their friends?  I'm so confused.

BUBBLES: hey you guys sorry we hav nt been over much!

ROBIN: aw s'okay! [giggles] we missed ya

MARY: yeah a lot! [giggles] we loved your concert!

Mary and Robin were doing whippets.

BLOSSOM: thanks

MARY: I wish I could sing like you Bubbles

BUBBLES: [giggles] thanks Mary! lets go get ice cream
& go shopping!

MARY: yeah!

[the girls are having tons of fun! they
hop in the car & head to townsville mall.]

Is this supposed to be a story based on the "PPG" show or "Bratz?"

[at the mall food court]

MARY: they keep you so buisy! you guys! how do you
manage to fight crime & rock - seriously
im jelous! [Mary,PPG & Robin laugh!]

She's jealous that the PPGs have so little free time?

BLOSSOM: [laughs] I dunno I guess fighting keeps up
energized or --

BUTTERCUP: I love fighting,beating up villains &
rocking hard!

BUBBLES: well I love saving the day & singing so much
& drawing & kitties & puppies & coloring
and walking & ice cream & I like --

[Bubbles babbles on a lot & buttercup gives her
an "enough" look.]

BUBBLES: well... he he ya know [laughs]

ROBIN: awsome! [giggles]

Thank God Robin is there to keep the conversation moving.  That and the nitrous oxide they all keep inhaling.

[back at the powerpuff girls home
the hotline rings again]

BLOSSOM: yes mayor....

How did they answer the phone when they're still at the mall?

MAYOR: girls! that crazy tomato is stealing all the
Susan B. Anthony coins again!

BLOSSOM: Femme Fatale! i knew she'd be up to no good!
we'll be right there mayor!

MISS BELLUM: hurry girls the city needs you!

Another stellar performance for Ms. Bellum!
